It's with great sadness that the OCBA announces the passing of Danni R. Murphy, 2001 President. Danni graduated from UC Berkeley and earned her law degree from Western State, College of Law. Early in her career she was an associate at the firm of Pohlson and Moorhead practicing civil and criminal defense. She later worked in the Orange County Public Defender's office. Danni was President of the OCBA during its historic Centennial Year and penned numerous President's Pages on the various historic milestones of the OCBA 100-year history in Orange County. She was a lifelong vegetarian who loved animals, especially those in need of a home and some TLC. She volunteered for the Best Friends Animal Society in Salt Lake City, Utah. She will be missed dearly by so many people who had the good fortune to have known her. Danni Murphy passed away on April 23, 2023. She was 75.
