Adkisson Pitet LLP recently announced that Peter Hardin has joined the firm as a partner in the Orange County office. Hardin will head the firm’s new “Government Investigations & White Collar Defense” practice, representing individuals and businesses under investigation, as well as companies conducting internal investigations.

The Government Investigations & White Collar Defense team will handle matters including investigations involving antitrust, computer and intellectual property/piracy offenses, embezzlement, environmental crimes and compliance, export/import violations, False Claims Act violations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations, healthcare fraud, money laundering, Bank Secrecy Act violations, mortgage fraud, financial institution fraud, narcotics and firearms offenses, privacy and cybersecurity issues, procurement fraud, securities and commodities fraud, and tax violations.
