Santa Ana – Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, causing Orange County to move to “HIGH” community transmission status, the Orange County Superior Court strongly recommends everyone entering Court facilities to wear N95 or KN95 masks.
“As you know, it has been a priority of our Court to continue to operate at the highest level of safety and functionality, but the recent dramatic increase in COVID-19 positive cases in our County may impact our work, therefore we request of those entering our Courthouses to use high protection level masks,” said Presiding Judge Erick Larsh.
The Court will supply KN95 masks to those that do not have them and can be requested when coming through the security weapons screening.
Both N95 masks and KN95 masks are made from multiple layers of synthetic material and thus provide a higher level of protection. They are designed to be worn over the mouth and nose.
The Court will continue to monitor developments, as it proceeds cautiously to continue to provide access to justice.
