The OCBA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee is conducting a Mock Interview Program. This program will provide job seekers—and those just looking to brush up their interviewing skills—with valuable interviewing practice. Attendees will also receive tips and feedback to enhance their interviewing skills. Interviews will be conducted by experienced, attorneys from large law firms, small- to mid-sized firms, government, corporations and legal aid groups as well as judicial officers.
Volunteers are needed to conduct virtual mock interviews. To volunteer to be an interviewer, you can register online or send an email to mockinterview@ocbar.org by June 13, 2022. There will be an Interviewer Orientation on July 8, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. and the interviews will take place July 11-15 and July 18-22, 2022.
If you would like to reserve your space for an interview, you can download the application and submit it along with your resume to mockinterview@ocbar.org before June 20, 2022. One-on-one interview sessions will be up to 30 minutes, including time for feedback and questions. Interviewers and candidates will be notified that they are assigned to one another by July 8, 2022.
