OCBA Past President John Hueston, a founding partner of Hueston Hennigan LLP, has been listed in the 2021 Benchmark Litigation “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America.”  Benchmark Litigation has, since 2007, celebrated these trial lawyers in the pages of its directory as well as events associated with it.

Benchmark Litigation has repeatedly recognized Hueston as a “Top 100 Trial Lawyer in America” and a national and local “Litigation Star,” and with the “Los Angeles Lawyer of the Year” award. The Daily Journal has repeatedly named him among the “Top 100 Lawyers” in California, and Best Lawyers in America has repeatedly named Hueston a “Lawyer of the Year” and a leading lawyer for “Bet-the-Company Litigation.” The National Law Journal also honored Hueston with the “Elite Boutique Trailblazer” award, selected for “a deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission, having achieved remarkable successes along the way.” Hueston is, in addition, the recipient of the Anti-Defamation League’s Marcus Kaufman Jurisprudence Award. 

Hueston is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honor reserved for less than 1 percent of active lawyers who have “mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked with the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality.”
