Umberg/Zipser LLP (U/Z) is pleased to announce that partner Adina Stowell is on the Board of Directors of Pretend City Children’s Museum. Adina says, “Pretend City is a leader in providing healthy development and early learning resources. Before I joined the Board, I had been going to Pretend City for years with my own children. I could see how much they were learning through play and enjoyed experiencing the interactive learning centers with them. Although Pretend City is temporarily closed, it continues to provide fun programming for kids, which can be found on its social media page, and free online educational programming and parent resources. I am very excited to be on the board of directors and to have an opportunity to help advance and grow the Museum’s mission.”
Adina has a history of public service. She also serves on the Board of Directors and is a past president of the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County. She has served on the Board of Governors of the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers and the Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association. Adina is committed to pro bono legal work and has handled many pro bono matters throughout her career, including immigration asylum cases and assisting Holocaust survivors in obtaining reparations payments.
