Let’s Help Those In Need!
Local food banks and providers are facing unprecedented challenges with the spread of COVID-19 and its effects on the local economy. With unemployment rising, more Orange County residents need help from our local food charities. Moreover, with schools closed, many public school children will be missing the free and reduced priced meals they received at schools, placing an increasing burden on limited family resources.
Please join the Orange County Bar Association to help make sure our Orange County neighbors who need it most are well-nourished and have the best chance of making it through the weeks ahead by contributing to the following online virtual food drives:
CATERINA’S CLUB: Providing warm meals, affordable housing assistance, and job training to homeless and low-income families throughout Southern California. CEO/Executive Director Chef Bruno Serato feeds thousands of kids every day.
ORANGE COUNTY FOOD BANK: A Division of Community Action Partnership of Orange County The OC Food Bank’s mission is to make a positive impact in people’s lives by helping them meet basic needs and strengthen their support system. The OC Food Bank works with nearly 400 local charities, soup kitchens, and community organizations to end hunger and malnutrition.
SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK: Second Harvest feeds more than 300,000 individuals through its network of hundreds of community partners distributing food at locations throughout the county.
