Congratulations to member Genevieve R. Walser-Jolly on being elected the new Member in Charge for Severson & Werson’s Orange County office.

Walser-Jolly represents financial institutions. She has a niche practice involving reverse mortgage loans, data privacy protection, and class action defense.

Walser-Jolly’s practice also includes complex litigation in representing auto finance companies victimized by sophisticated fraud rings; defending consumer cases under the TCPA, FDCPA, and FCRA; and developing data privacy programs.

In addition to the OCBA, Walser-Jolly is a member of the Consumer Financial Services Committee with the American Bar Association. Walser-Jolly is also a member of The National Association of Reverse Mortgage Lenders where she sits on the loan servicing committee and is a graduate of the Future Leaders program with the California Mortgage Bankers Association. Walser-Jolly sits on the Associate Board for the Boys & Girls Club of Garden Grove. She works with Girls, Inc. to provide internship opportunities to high school students interested in the practice of law.
