OCBA member Doug Luther, an associate at Glaser Weil Fink Howard Avchen & Shapiro LL, has been named as a Legal Eagle by Franchise Times for the second year in a row.

With significant litigation and trial experience in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration and administrative proceedings, Luther focuses his practice on business, franchise, and real estate litigation, with particular expertise in franchise law representing dozens of franchisors and franchisees in litigation.
Luther has been serving on the Franchise Law Committee for the California Lawyers Association since 2017, and he has been published by the Franchise Law Journal and co-authored the California chapter of the upcoming ABA Forum on Franchising's Franchise Desk book. In 2018, Luther was recognized as a 2018 Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Luther earned his JD from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. He received his BA from Loyola Marymount University.
