Womble Bond Dickinson continues to build its Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) Litigation team with the addition of experienced litigator and member Shane Micheil.

In addition to his extensive experience representing financial institutions in TCPA litigation, Micheil has served as lead defense attorney for more than 20 single-plaintiff, state and federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) lawsuits in numerous states.

Womble Bond Dickinson’s TCPA Litigation Team is led by member Eric Troutman, a leading TCPA class action defense attorney. Troutman and his team have handled more than 700 TCPA cases, with Troutman serving as lead counsel in more than 60 national class actions. Troutman and his team also represent banks and other financial services companies in consumer finance litigation matters. The team is based in Womble Bond Dickinson’s Orange County office.

Micheil earned his J.D. from Chapman University School of Law in 2016, and his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego in 2010.
