The OCBA is pleased to share that OCBA Board Member Mei Tsang and member Ryan Dean have joined Umberg/Zipser LLP, a premier law firm that offers business litigation and IP legal services, as its newest partners. 

“I have known Mei for many years and have always been impressed with the depth of her IP experience and expertise, her devotion to her clients, and her professional service,” said OCBA Past President and Founding Partner Dean Zipser. “Mei and I have worked together on various professional and community matters; doing client work together is a natural transition for us.”

“With their deep experience with patent and trademark prosecution and licensing, Mei and Ryan will strengthen the firm’s IP litigation practice – which has always been one of our core areas of focus – and helps meet our clients’ needs to identify, procure, and shepherd their IP rights,” added OCBA member and Founding Partner Tom Umberg.

Tsang received a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, an International Law Certificate from the University of London College of Law, and an undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in English from Purdue University.

Dean received a J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and holds an undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
