The OCBA is pleased to share that OCBA-member law firm Haynes and Boone, LLP was named Law Firm of the Year for 2017 by Public Law Center.

Haynes and Boone is being recognized for the firm’s many pro bono efforts in recent years, including its 2015 representation of clients who successfully enjoined the City of Costa Mesa from evicting low-income residents from its motels.

“This award speaks to the significant individual efforts made by our lawyers and, more broadly, the great support and sacrifice of the firm in the name of pro bono legal services for the disadvantaged,” said Haynes and Boone Partner and OCBA member Mark Erickson, who worked on the Costa Mesa matter and is a member of the PLC’s Board of Directors.
