The California State Bar's Legal Services Trust Fund Commission recently passed a resolution to recognize the passing of William Wenke on May 28, 2015, and honor him for his contribution to the California legal services community.

A former president of the State Bar of California as well as the OCBA, Wenke was a champion in the creation of California's IOLTA (Interest On Lawyers’ Trust Accounts) program and overcame great political opposition to ultimately shepherd the program into California law.
