More than two dozen individuals, firms, and legal organizations were honored for their extraordinary work during the California State Bar’s Annual Meeting, which was held Thursday, Sept. 11 through Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014. in San Diego—including an OCBA member, an Orange County law firm branch office, and a local law school dean.
OCBA member Lindsey E. Martínez of Snell and Wilmer received a President’s Pro Bono Service Award (Recently Admitted), as did Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP’s Orange County office (Law Firm Branch Office).
University of California Irvine, School of Law Founding Dean and Distinguished Professor Erwin Chemerinsky received the Bernard E. Witkin Medal, which recognizes someone who has helped to shape the legal landscape through an extraordinary body of work.
