Orange County Bar Association members are encouraged to join affiliate organizations in addition to their participation in OCBA.
ASSOCIATION OF BUSINESS TRIAL LAWYERS - ORANGE COUNTY
The mission of the ABTL is to promote competence, ethics, professionalism, and civility in the legal profession and to encourage and facilitate communication between members of the Orange County bar and the County’s federal and state judges on matters affecting business litigation and the civil justice system.
CELTIC BAR ASSOCIATION
The goals of the CBA are to promote camaraderie amongst its membership, civility and professionalism within the Orange County legal community, and a greater awareness of the Celtic culture and history, particularly its contribution to the law.
FEDERAL BAR ASSOCIATION / ORANGE COUNTY
The FBA/OC is the preeminent national organization for private and government lawyers and judges involved in federal practice.
FILIPINO-AMERICAN LAWYERS OF ORANGE COUNTY
Established in 2016, Filipino-American Lawyers of Orange County (FLOC) seeks to represent and advocate the interests of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans and foster the exchange of ideas and information among and between FLOC members and other members of the legal profession, the judiciary, and the community.
HISPANIC BAR ASSOCIATION OF ORANGE COUNTY
The OCHBA advocates for a legal community that reflects the true diversity of Orange County and ensures access to justice for all.
IRANIAN AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION - ORANGE COUNTY CHAPTER
The IABA-OC was formed in 2000 in the District of Columbia. Having begun with one chapter and only four founding members, IABA has grown to include nine chapters nationwide.
ITALIAN AMERICAN LAWYERS OF ORANGE COUNTY - LEX ROMANA
IALOC takes pride in being the premier OCBA affiliate that places equal emphasis on the importance of legal, cultural, epicurean and fermented contributions Italians have made to our society.
J. REUBEN CLARK LAW SOCIETY - ORANGE COUNTY CHAPTER
The JRCLS-OC appeals to lawyers whose personal religious conviction guides their lives and manner of practicing law.
ORANGE COUNTY ASIAN AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION
Formed in 1993, the OCAABA is a multi-cultural bar organization dedicated to providing professional, social, and educational services and opportunities to its members and the community at large.
ORANGE COUNTY CRIMINAL DEFENSE BAR ASSOCIATION
Founded in 2009 as the voice of the private criminal defense bar in Orange County, OCCDBA seeks to represent its members at all levels of the decision-making processes of the Orange County criminal justice system.
ORANGE COUNTY JEWISH BAR ASSOCIATION
The OCJBA was founded in 2010 to provide a social environment that engenders comradeship among its members based on the Jewish traditions of Torah (law), Mitzvot (good deeds), and Tzedakah (justice/kindness) while practicing law and serving the community.
ORANGE COUNTY KOREAN AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION
OCKABA was established in 2005 to foster professional and personal relationships between 1st, 1.5, and 2nd generation Korean-American attorneys, provide pro bono services for the local Korean-American community, promote the appointment of Korean-American judges, and help Korean-American law students navigate the transition to licensed practice.
ORANGE COUNTY LAVENDER BAR ASSOCIATION
The OCLBA is Orange County's official LGBT bar association. OCLBA seeks to provide leadership, visibility, and networking opportunities for the LGBT and allied community in the legal profession through education, advocacy, and participation in civic and social activities.
ORANGE COUNTY TRIAL LAWYERS ASSOCIATION
The OCTLA was formed in 1963 when a few plaintiffs' attorneys got together to share information about the problems they were having and to exchange various tips and strategies with one another.
ORANGE COUNTY WOMEN LAWYERS ASSOCIATION
The OCWLA was founded in 1975 with five members. The original goal was to focus on the rights not only of women but also of all individual groups that may have experienced discrimination in our society or before the law. At the time, there were no women jurists sitting on the bench in Orange County. Since this time, the OCWLA has been dedicated to the advancement of women in the legal profession and the support of diversity both on the bench and in law firm partnerships. Today, with over 500 members, the OCWLA’s mission is to advance women in the legal profession by providing a professional network to its members, raising awareness of discrimination and bias, and supporting charitable organizations.
THURGOOD MARSHALL BAR ASSOCIATION
TMBA strives to promote diversity, professional improvement, and the advancement of justice through positive community involvement and excellence in the practice of law for the Black legal community, allies, and the community at large.
