Orange County Bar Association to Honor Trudy C. Levindofske With
the Prestigious Harmon G. Scoville Award

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Oct. 7, 2024 – The Orange County Bar Association recently announced Trudy C. Levindofske as this year’s Harmon G. Scoville Award recipient. The award will be presented during the OCBA Big Thanks Event celebrating OCBA member volunteers on October 28, 2024.

Trudy's dedication and contributions to the Orange County Bar Association and the constitutional system of justice began in 1989 when she first came to the OCBA. What was initially intended to be a brief stint before a career in publishing, became a 35-year long career with the OCBA. From Communications Director to Associate Executive Director to becoming OCBA's longest serving CEO / Executive Director, Trudy embodied the OCBA's mission statement each step of the way:

To Enhance the System of Justice, To Support the Lawyers Who Serve It, and To Assist the Community Served By It.

Established in 1990, the prestigious Scoville Award was first given to then-retiring Justice Harmon G. Scoville, the Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, 4th District, Division 3. Since then, the OCBA has annually presented this award to a member of the Orange County legal community whose career exemplifies the highest standards of the legal profession, who is widely known as a champion of the constitutional system of justice, and who has made significant contributions to the OCBA and its community.
