Growing general liability and insurance coverage law firm is seeking an associate attorney with 1-4 years of experience to join its practice in Fullerton, Calif. The firm practices primarily in insurance defense and insurance coverage. Litigation involves the subject matters of insurance bad faith, personal injury, and construction defect, among others. Candidates with the following skills are preferred:

  • Recent litigation experience—preferably insurance defense. Applicant must be experienced and skilled in drafting and responding to written discovery; researching, preparing, and drafting all manner of motions and briefs; drafting all pleadings; and drafting legal memorandum. Experienced in preparing for and taking depositions. Experienced at performing oral argument on all manner of motions and procedure. Skilled legal researcher required. The Orange County Bar Association has a part-time position for a Client Services Manager to assist its Public Services Department. The Client Services Manager assists with managing the public service programs of the Orange County Bar Association including the Mandatory Fee Arbitration (MFA), Client Relations, and pro bono programs in accordance with the California State Bar regulations. Duties include handling busy phones, processing and setting up attorney/client fee arbitrations and mediations and attorney/client complaints, implementation of pro bono programs and outreach, and a variety of clerical duties. Ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years administrative experience. Legal background preferred. Ability to multi-task and prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and excellent follow through.
